The
blue silver solar cover is made of two layers of
high density polyethylene film: The electric blue
top surface absorbs suns rays into the water, then
the aluminized bottom "bubble surface"
reflects much of the heat normally lost back into
the water. This results in quicker heat-ups and
greater heat retention. Tests have shown that the
Reflective Cover is 14.6% more efficient in retaining
accumulated heat in the pool water than are plain
blue solar covers. Blue on top & Silver on the
bottom.
