Solar Saddle Cover Holder for Above Ground Pools

The Solar Saddle is a quick to mount solar reel alternative for above ground pools. With five smooth cradle hooks, your solar cover can be easily collected and maintained, keeping it neat and out of the way while you swim. It prevents you from needing to place your cover on your lawn or deck, where it could potentially get damaged.

Your solar cover is easily pulled off the swimming pool and can then slide into the cradles of the solar saddle. The cover is folded accordion-style to fit properly within the cradles, where it sits until you need it again. When you've finished swimming, simply pull the cover up and out of the cradles and back over your pool.

When mounting the solar saddle to your above ground pool space the five cradles evenly apart from one another. Allow 2 ½' - 3' of solar cover length on each end from the outermost cradles. All necessary installation hardware is included.

Required Tools:

• Drill with ½" metal drill bit
• Screwdriver
• Small adjustable wrench

Mounting Instructions:

1. Locate where you want to place the saddles. Be sure to space the 5 cradles evenly apart, allowing for 2 ½' - 3' of solar cover overhang on each end.
2. Mount the center bracket. Hold the bracket under the top rail, close to the side wall.
3. Mark where the ¼" holes will be drilled by holding the bracket up as a location guide. 2 holes are required per bracket.
4. Locate where to place the outside saddle brackets.
5. Measure around the outside of the pool 10' (each way from the center bracket) and place the outside brackets. Note: if you have a large pool, fold the solar cover back on top of the outside saddles. This allows the solar saffle to be used with even the largest sizes of pools. 
6. Mount the last 2 saddles between the center and outside saddles.
7. The holders extend from the side of the pool about 18" and down the edge of the pool about 19".
